How to Select a Device and Locate It on the Map

When to Use This

• You want to check the real-time location of a device
• You want to move from the selected device into tracks, trips, or alerts

Steps

1. Enter the "Device List / Monitoring Overview" page.
2. Search for the target device by device name or device ID.
3. Click the device entry to select it. The map will automatically move near that device if location data is available.
4. If you want to switch to tracks, alerts, or trip pages, keep the device selected and then enter the target module.

• Use status filters such as moving, stationary, or offline first, then search by device ID for better efficiency.
• Some disabled or expired devices may not be available as active monitoring targets. This is designed to prevent mistakes.
