Device List: Search, Status Filters, and Group View

Feature Overview

The device list is the starting point for daily monitoring. You can quickly find devices through search and filters, and switch between list view and group view to suit different monitoring scales.

Steps

  1. Click the search icon at the top of the device list and enter a device name or device ID.
  2. Use status filters such as moving, stationary, or offline to focus on the devices that matter most.
  3. If you need to view devices by organization, switch to group view and expand the relevant group.
  4. Click a device to select it. The map will move with the selection and show status information.

Recommendations

  • In group view, expand the target group first, then use search to narrow down to a specific device.
  • Offline, disabled, and expired devices usually need different handling. Filter first, then investigate the cause.

FAQ

Q: Why are there devices under "Ungrouped"?
A: Devices that have not been assigned to any group are placed under "Ungrouped" so they can still be managed and assigned later.

Q: Why does nothing happen when I click a device?
A: The device may be in a non-monitorable state, such as disabled or expired. Check its status first or confirm availability with the administrator.
