Account Management: Account Tree, Sub-Accounts, and Device Binding
Feature Overview
Account management is used to maintain the organization structure and account system. Common capabilities include the account tree, account creation, editing and deletion, account transfer, sub-account management, device binding for some account types, and menu permission configuration.
Common Workflow
- Build the account tree first so each level has clear responsibilities and scope.
- Create sub-accounts under the target account and assign permissions by role.
- For accounts that require device binding, use bind device to associate device IDs with that account.
- If the organization changes, use account transfer to move resources to the new account.
Recommendations
- Start permission setup from the minimum usable set, then add capabilities by role step by step to avoid over-privileged accounts.
- Include password reset and account deletion in a formal management process to avoid mistakes that affect the business.
FAQ
Q: Why can't I edit an account?
A: The module may be read-only for your account, or the target account may be outside your current authorized scope. Contact the administrator to confirm.
