Operation Log

Operation Log is a core audit tool provided by the platform for enterprise data security and compliance governance. This page automatically records create, update, and delete actions on key system resources (such as devices, accounts, and alarm settings). With field-level before/after comparison, it helps administrators quickly troubleshoot issues, define responsibility, and trace misoperations.

Click Profile Center/Username dropdown at the top-right > Operation Log

Provides rich filtering dimensions to accurately extract target records from massive logs. Steps and supported filters:

  • Object Type: Use the dropdown to target changed business modules. Supported modules include Device, Account, Account balance (coins), Group, Fence, User, Alarm configuration, and Custom Brand.
  • Object Name/ID: Enter a specific device name, device number, or account name for precise object-level lookup.
  • Start Time: Define query time range. After setting conditions, click Query to refresh results; click Reset to clear filters.

Field-Level Change Comparison (Core Feature)

Section titled “Field-Level Change Comparison (Core Feature)”

When modifications occur, the system records not only who did what, but also the exact data differences before and after changes, greatly improving correction efficiency. Steps and details:

  1. Find a log entry of type Modify in the list.
  2. Click that row (or expand icon) to open the change detail panel.
  3. Comparison display: The panel is split into left and right sections:
  • BEFORE MODIFICATION: Usually highlighted with a red background, showing replaced or removed old values.
  • AFTER MODIFICATION: Usually highlighted with a green background, showing new values currently effective in the system.

Q: A device suddenly stopped generating geofence alarms. How can I investigate through logs? A: Go to Operation Log, set Object Type to Alarm configuration or Device, and enter that device identifier in Object ID to query. Expand log details and compare before/after values to quickly identify whether someone accidentally removed the device’s geofence binding rule. The log records operator account information completely. If the operator field is not shown in the current table header, click Header Settings at the top-right and enable the Operator-related column.
